If one where to have a heavly planted tank and the tank size is about 30 gallons, how many figure 8s could you put em in?
p.s. has anyone effectivly breeded and succesfully raised the fry of figure 8's

I don't think that they are any less aggressive if the tank is planted.

2-3 F8s should be ok. No one as of yet has sucessfully been able to raise F8 fry.
And is not easy to have a heavily planted brackish tank in any case. In FW or very high brackish to full SW it is easier.

rtr what kind of puffers do you have experence with? Have you ever attempted to breed puffers? Could u give me some of the spec on you tank/s inwhich you carry your puffers and the ammount?
P.S. Im having problems with my dwarfs in my 10 gallon tank.. It seems that their true colors are showing.. Ive been seing some fin nippage on my tetra neons :( Hopefully they adapt and learn to stay clear of my 2 dwarfs... Oddly enough, it seems that my guppies are unharmed and dont show any signes of fin nippage

Yup, move the targets out. You cannot change the nature of the fish.

RtR forgot the other half of my question ;)
I have experience with a wide variety of puffers over many years and I do not write articles as posts. I did not forget the rest of the questions, I just did not answer.
You can check the archives of the Yahoo pufferlist for more info.
