Can you name this fish

This fish is real small about 3/4 inches to 1 inch and about 1/4 inch tall.......it has a clear like body but the tail turns red sometimes only on the bottom though......thanx!!

its a pretty bad picture but better then nothing my gusedament would have to be a "bloodfin" or a "lemon tetra" most likely a bloodfin same body shape and colouration but i would need a second opinion on that

these bloodfins do they have that red section like that that also turns clear????

Yeah. I've seen it in certain individuals. It doesn't seem to be a reaction to light or stress, just a permenant color. Perhaps it depends on the parents. They all school together though and I've never seen the clear finned ones to be more unhealthy than the "blood" bloodfins. For some reason though they seem to be really suseptible to mouth rot, so keep an eye out.

whe i feed them to my fish they go completly colourless till they are eaten so it looked like it was by itself so may be it feels frightend and lonley his got the neon tetras but they arnt his own kind
