I have a bit of BBA on my Java Moss, would bleach dips work with Java Moss? What ratio bleach to water would I use? And how long do I dip them into it. After the dip do the BBA just fall off? Lots of questions, lastly I have some anubias with some very dark colored diatoms, do I put them through the same treatment or should I just prune them.

Thanks for your time

I think you can bleach Anubias at 19:1 ratio, but the java moss you should just trim, or pull it off. I ended up putting my moss in a mollie tank, they had it cleaned in about 4 hours!

I don't have a whole lot of Java Moss at the moment. I might have to rip out half of the whole thing if not more, I hope it survives.

Mine grew pretty fast, one small clump filled up my 10 in about a month to 6 weeks.

I kept forgetting how tough java moss is mainly because this BBA seems even tougher than it is, quite overwhelming specially when you think about how weed like java moss is.

Honestly, I hate java moss! It gets into everything, the filter other plants, and it always seems to catch all of the dirt--ie fish poop and detritus and uneaten food.

I left it in my Molly tank because they seem to keep it pretty clean.

I pull mine out of the tank and put in a cooler or other dark place for a couple days. . . It usually does this trick.
