Well, I think I've done all my research and have taken many of you up on your advice (thanks!!) So,this weekend is when we are going to get all our supplies. My goal is to have a reef tank with easy corals. Can you please review the list below and let me know if you disagree with anything, or If I forgot anything

I would also suggest better lighting if you want some corals, even low light corals.
 
That's the one thing I was afraid of.
However, with MH I fear the danger of fire. Any opinions on this?
And, with MH I am under the impression that the top of the tank needs to be uncovered, and I would prefer a covered tank. Am I wrong?
 
cannot comment on the sunpods, never used or know anyone who uses...But, i do think you would be better off going down the MH route, gives you more options when/if you want to add corals...

All sounds good though, should be a nice system
