I have a Long fin albino pleco, and was wondering if you could tell the sex of it - it has some bristles on the sides but none on the front.
I'm hoping it's a female - but it's probably a male - but could do with confirmation.
Sometimes with albino bns you can see a red triangular area on the back of a male's head (fairly big). Females don't get it. So I vote female from what I see, but I agree with steph, may be too early.
These LF's have been very slow growers, I have more (from the same batch) that have started breeding - but the females
have no bristles at all, and the males are very obvious - I just wasn't sure about this one.
I was just recently given 2 male regular brown bristlenose, and was hoping to breed one of them with this one.
