I have a breeding pair of convicts in a 33 gallon and find brown algea to be building up. It's easy enought to clean it off the the glass, but not so much for the rocks.
Is there a pl*co or other algea eater I could get to eat the algea that could also co-exist with the current tankmates. I have heard that pl*cos are armoured? and there are some varieties that only grow to 6" which should be a good size for a 33g. The tank already has a number of rock caves and clay pots as well as a large piece of driftwood.
Any suggestions besides a pl*eco? Thanks.
