I get the impression that bloodworms are a good supplement for oscars and very popular, but it seems like they're really messy from what other people say about them. I think that's the case with frozen brine also. Is that accurate? What other frozen foods can I give my guy besides beefheart and krill?

I don't find frozen foods to be very messy. Yes of course a bit more mess than with dried food but really not all that much. I thaw the frozen part out on paper towel then add to it a cup with tank water. Then I just pour into my tanks. Bloodworms are a very nutritious food.

Bloodworms are probably the least messy (if they are at all) - besides krill - since they're just whole, intact pieces. I haven't found any of my frozen foods to be messy with the exception of one kind that came in a variety pack....I can't remember what it was, but it dissolved into a million blackish red pieces.
