Should I be worried??

I went out tonight so I had asked my younger brother to feed my week old Betta frys for me. I told him to feed them my microworms that was next to the tank.(specifically telling him to get the stuff on the side only) Thinking nothing could go wrong I got home late at night. Only to notice a big blob of white stuff on the bottom. My brother had took a scoop of oatmeal and placed it into the fish tank. Quickly I sucked everything out with the stuff used for turkeys.
My concern is what can go wrong. I've turned up my sponge filter a little bit higher and my Betta frys look fine. Changed about 20% of the water. If there's nothing to be concern about then I would like some reassurance. Thanks

Worst case scenario? Possible ammonia spike. Then again, I've never been able to harvest microworms without getting any of the mashed potatoes/oatmeal into the tank as well. They bring the stuff with them, even when they climb the walls.
