Freeze dried food

I've used it in the past but then I decided my money was better spent on a good staple and frozen. The fish never really seemed to care either way though.
If a fish eats flakes and/or pellets I find that they'll take at least some fd foods. I really like fd bloodworms in particular. Some pickier fish that prefer live foods can learn to take frozen, but rarely to never take fd. My Pygmy Sunfish fall into that category.
freezedried blood worms are a enjoyed by pretty much all my surface feeding fish, my gouramis love them, same with my bettas and even my barbs, so i say give it a try, if they like it feed it to them in addition to other food, or you can try adding it into a gel food recipe. it made a great addition to mine
My fish love freeze dried krill that I smash up. They also like freeze dried bloodworms.

Nutritionally speaking, I think FD is better for fish then flake. My fishes like the FD worms and B-Shrimp.
