My 125g planted discus tank is no more... :cry:
But out with the old, and in with the new! My new 240g is now up and running!
A few specs:
8x2x2 = 240g acrylic with eurobracing
filtration: 60g wet/dry sump with bio ball tower
Pressurized CO2 with EI fertilization dry dosing
Lighting: (2) 72" 10K BuildmyLED original series fixtures - currently dialed down to 75% output until I can get CO2/ferts dialed in
12 discus
6 roseline sharks - Just ordered 13 more!
3 bolivian rams
2 GBR's - would like to add more
6 sterbai cories
3 albino bristlenose plecos
3 bamboo shrimp
2 black kuhli loaches
a few cardinal tetras - leftover from a large school that has slowly died off over the years
And a short video clip I took shortly after everyone was moved over. One of my discus is really skinny - but he eats well and shows no sign of illness. He's about 8 years old, so I'm guessing he's entering his golden years. I just hope he lives out the rest of his days happy. :goldfish:
