Question for ya
Over the weekend, I lost two of my pretty females
No obvious reasons.
My tank has been up and running for 11months.
Planted, cycled, all the good stuff
NO water problems.
But, as I said, two of my females have passed
One was a recent purchase of about....1 month perhaps?
She was a little lethargic at first, but opened up and started to become active
then found her on a rock dead
no outward causes, bleeding, whatever.
Figured it might have been just a freak thing, new fish perhaps, let it slide
then 2 days later, the prized white one passed
she was extremely active up untill 12 or so hours before she died
just started hanging up at the surface, not moving much, and then the next morning, on the bottom dead.
Once again, no outward causes, no lesions, NOTHING
So, could it be something like an internal parasite?
BTW. All other tank inhabitants are happy and acting normal.
Perhaps an interesting point, the fish appeared to have been left alone, not picked at by other fish.....as if they didnt want to touch them, ida know, maybe its nothing
