Farlowella (load warning)

SO...ok a friend of mine is getting out of the hobby..I picked up a 55 acrylic hex with tons of tiger shrimp..tiger endlers 2 calico bristlenose plecos some rabbit snails, two sunset guramis and this guy..

I have never really looked in to them I had seen some small ones at my LFS

...but WOW...what an interesting "little" fish he is over 6 inches long

any other info on them would be great! they are in my 40 gallon tall and will be upgraded to a 70 tall shortly.

my gudgeon has no clue what to do with him and just follows the whiptail everywhere..

thank you ^_^ i love odd looking fish..and he was such a a surprise ..didnt even know they got this big.

sweet i love those guys and sweet peacock.

you can feed them like normal plecos.

the peacock is adorable..picked her up from a friend they have so much personality ..she is still following the whiptail around like a confused thought bubble..its amusing...cant wait to find her a male.

forgot the full tank shot.

and whip tail is just the common name i have always seen them at my LFS as he is a Farlowella pleco^_^
