My 45 Gallon Heavily Planted - 8 Weeks In - Seriously!

The entire background started from a small bunch of 3 or 4 red ludwigia (about 4 inches tall) and an even smaller bunch of giant red rotala. I planted them both back side right, and have cut and replanted each 3 or 4 times - you can literally see them growing from day to day.

The pressurized Co2 (and turning it up per your suggestion) has made the plants go crazy. All this with a ladder. Still debating as to whether or not to change to a glass diffuser.

BTW - getting the 36 watts of 50/50 out and the good light in (also per your suggestion) has also made a world of difference.

Still filling the right side middle - the anubias are starting to come along nicely.

I dose with Pfertz and will likely need to move to dry ferts (I'm sure you will be getting questions about that also).

And, of course, I am really jazzed to finish up the foreground.

Can't wait to post some updates in a week or two.

Thanks again!

Working on the foreground - I moved the hair grass around to the back right (per BK's suggestion) and moved the micro swords back in a row next to / under the drift wood.

The front is now ready for some more glosso (this weekend) and some more hair grass on the far left side.
