This only cost me about $8 to build.

I bought a piece of 12"12" slate from Home Depot, measured out the size of the pieces that I wanted. Cut them and then used aquarium glue to glue it all together.

Hey,

I like it alot! I was thinking of doing something similar for my 20T bb gobie tank. Looks great to me!!!

i like it too, how did you cut that though? and what fish do you have it for?

For the top piece I used a hand grout saw to score it and then I broke it along that line, the rest of the cuts I used a chop saw that I have access to at work and cut them that way. I think you can see the difference in the cuts I just got impatient even though the cuts with the grout saw look better. And I have juvi Salvini's and juvi Sajica's in the tank and who ever claims it gets the cave, which is why I don't think I should put another piece in front because when they a grown they can still fit in it.
