I been researching making a sump for a while, one thing I am unsure about is the overflow. I am unable to drill my tank, so I must use an external overflow chamber.I have a few questions regarding overflow chambers.
1) does the overflow necessarily have to be made of acrylic? Will any other materials work?
2) I am concerned about making sure it will function properly, are there any redundant safety features I can use?
If anyone has any advice or would like to share info about making an overflow, I will appreicate it. Thanks
