there like on big wet/dry filter without the dry part...... never used one since my biggest tank so far is a 20 gallon.......
 
I used to use one on my goldfish tank but recently took it out due to it's size. It wouldn't fit in my cabinet so I kept it near the tank......grandma hated the way it looked.

no one go to the fish room except me... so im cool... LOL
 
I picked up two similar ones, but haven't set them up yet.

Meh.....I personally don't like the idea of fish rooms, as they restrict the amount of time you get to see your fish.
