Pictures of my 29L

I think you should have posted this in the general board as this doesn't have anything to do w/ bottem feeders. Also, more people will look at it.

You substrate is too big for live plants, they will not root properly. Also with the substrate, on the picture with the cory, it is too rough for cories, they should have a soft sandy substrate as they lay on it and you wouldn't want him to get hurt. I would seriously consider changing to a sand substrate.

When you tke pictures of your tank, don't use the flash, it gives it a more natural look when just the aquarium light is on.

Good ! I do have pictures of Catfish, that's why it was posted here.. Substrate is what I've been using for years actually. The Flourite with some lava rock mixed in for bacteria growth. I've got more I've taken which should help - after doing photography for 15 years I know some of those weren't good..

At least the fish don't complain they want mommy or look fat.
 
Thats flourite? It looks too jagged to be flourite. Well, that is fine then, especially if they have been fine so far. Why do you want the extra bacteria growth? are you planning on using it to seed another tank?
 
I don't understand. Whenever I take pictures, the shudder is always open too long, the camera doesn't seem to focus, (esspicially when zoomed in a lot,) and the picture always comes out blurry. What does everyone else do that I'm not doing?

I'm using a Digital Canon A40. It's a rather new, (1 year) camera, so it has most of the stuff. I know all the photography terms, so don't worry about being too complex.

Not sure, I have a Minolta DiMage 5 - and macro is at the 250mm mark, versus wide angle - Actually, not familiar with the Digital Canon A40, let me check steve's Digicam

Oh, powershot A40 - only 2 MP - The PowerShot A40 Zoom is equipped with a 5.4-16.2mm f/2.8-4.8 (35-105mm in 35mm format) 3x zoom lens with a 2.5x digital zoom. -

Try using a flash and getting at an angle - 35-45 degrees from the front.. Maybe that helps.. If anything, send me a PM and I'll do some phone support or something..
 
ok. I can't seem to focus on the fish though. The Camera is either focusing on the glass, (front or back,) or the water...
