How do you prevent brigs from commiting suicide on your filter intakes? I have a aquaclear 200 (now the 50) on a 29G. At first I noticed my blue brig climbing up onto the intake and looking stuck so I'd unplug it and he'd fall but be okay. Today, I saw my gold brig stuck on there where it was last night. When I reduced the flow and unstuck it, it was so wedged in there that a hunk of flesh got left behind and it appears to be dead.
Is there something you can put over it to prevent this? I don't understand why they would choose to put themselves there! I've tried to google a sleeve or something designed to cover it, but turned up nothing.
anyone?
