I have had a pair of keyhole chiclids (do not believe they are a breading pair) for about 6 months now.
At first there colors we normal light yellow with distinctive 'keyhole' markings. Within the last two month I have noticed that the larger one has started to display blotches of black coloring over its body.
I have never seen or heard of this before and was wondering of anyone has ever seen/experienced this before.
They reside in a 20G long with 6 giant danios and 4 dwarf rainbows.
Water parameters are optimal and I perform weekly 40% water changes.
