UPDATE 4/20

The tank has been FW with about the same fish as above until April 2, 2007. Some have died through the years for unknown reasons, including a 7 year old pleco. After April 2nd the tank was broken down, cleaned and filled up with saltwater the very next day after selling the fish to a relative. Well heres the stats as the tank sits now:

Equipment:
2 400watt PFO MH Pendants+dual PFO HQI ballast burning 20K bulbs
55g sump with Aquamedic T1000 recirc in sump skimmer, filter sock. ~5 lbs live sand inside
Ocean Clear 375 w/UV
Cell-pore slab from my old Bio-Rocker
March pump @ 700GPH(to be replaced with a Pan world @ 1000GPH)
MJ 900, 600
*Future addons for filter system:
12" dia. Orca custom skimmer w/ 3 needlewheel pumps, or a Octopus TDNW-300
Ocean Clear 320 for polishing
Tranformation of the sump to a refugium
Pan World or Sequence Dart pump connected to either a 4-Way Oceans Motions or 2 1" Seaswirls
3 250w 10k Aquamedic pendants or Sunlight Supply DE 250's with 10K bulbs
2x39w 36" T5s with super actinics
Tunze 6080's.

Livestock:

4 Yellow tangs
1 spiny puffer
2 3-spot damsels
2 yellowtail damsels
1 sargent damsel
1 sailfin tang
1 bluejaw trigger
3 deresa clams @ 2" each

Corals:

Frogspawn
Bunch of zoos
Medusa softie
few other shrooms
*Future plans for corals/tank are a SPS dominated reef

Can't wait for some pics...?

Hah, you should see it now that its saltwater. Yeah, this thread is begging for more pics. I'll be doing a buildup thread later on @ reefcentral and one of my friends sites when I get the skimmer, lights and some SPS since most of the people that do the buildup threads are able to throw everything together within 4 months or so. I'm thinking mine may be worthy in 8 :). My brother has the tripod right now so no current pics.

So how big is the tank? Your Topic says 295 your post says 240 and your signature says 300 Just curious.

Yeah, it got messed up. The tank itself is 240, the sump is either 55 or 60...I don't really remember but 295 sounds weird...so I round up to 300 :). I would order a new 60g+ sump with baffles and all that but thats not much of a necessity for me right now. The sump was previously an old acrylic tank with a built in filter that I cut holes into. Most likely I'll just be working with that old tank. With all the rocks, sand, etc theres probably only 220g of water or so actually in there.
