I bought a damsel yesterday. 3 striped Black and white. Since we introduced it to the tank(that tank has been cycled) the damsel just lays at kind of a slant..like this " \ " and he stays at the top and barely moves, he looks like he's gasping. The levels are fine. So I don't know what to do

any help would be apprechiated.

thanks,

Justin

Not a good sign, but damsels are tough hombres. Give him some time - he'll make it or he won't.

*******This is all based on the assumption that you properly introduced the fish and didn't shock him.**********

Ok, The damsel is by himself. He was the first fish in this new tank. He seems to swim slanted when he's hiding. Anyway, he seems to be doing good now. I talked to the LFS guy and he said he's just stressed from the new move.
I acclimated him to the water.

Thanks,
Justin
