hello all.

I looking to upgrade my lighting for 130g salt water tank to home coral and reef. i have look at some MH light at LFS but they cost too much. i was thinking of getting 2- 175 MH and putting 1 on each end of the hood and 2 48" Floursent light in the middle . the hood is hanging from the roof aound 8" above the top of the tank.

Where would I find store that would sell MH Kit for cheap?

thanx.

Try www.hellolights.com. I have also found deals on ebay.

Don't skimp too much on the ballasts. A bad ballast can either drive the lamp poorly, causing poor spectral output, or overdrive the lamp and shorten its lifetime.

I agree. However you can find some good deals on mh on Ebay. I purchased my lights off of ebay and couldn't be happier.

Hope this helps,

Bradd
