Hello friends :) I have 5 lots of Brig snails up for auction. Choose from

-Dark striped pink (possibly some solid pink as well)
-Blue (deep blueberry-GORGEOUS!)
-Jade
-Ivory
-Chestnut striped gold (also possibly some solid golds)
-Dark Walnut
-Dark striped Chestnuts

You choose any 5 snails for only $10.00 USD!!! These snails easily retail for twice that (if you can find them) Some colours are ready to go now, others need a couple of weeks. Here is your opprotunity to put your order in early and get what you want! All snails are pea-dime size and have perfect shells. No erosion or dammage. They are a perfect addition to a peaceful tank, either planted or not.. Easy to control and undemanding. PM me with your location details and I wil get a quote on shipping. All proceeds (minus shipping and heat pack cost) go to AC!

The striped purple is particularily rare and highly sought after. These are some of the snails that are currently available... Blues, jades and ivories in a couple of weeks.

Those are wonderful, MQP. Hmmm..where to put one. I know clown loaches are out, but what about with kuhlis? Probably not, but thought I'd ask.
If you don't mind...I'll see if my fish club people are interested. Meeting this weds. Maybe I could do a group order.
What about putting them in tanks with other snails? I'm thinking even just a 2.5 for a snail...do they eat plants?? Need filtration..a heater??

Brigs can go in with any other snail...I think they may be able to cross with Marisas, not sure...Just remove any clutches to prevent cross breeding...An adult brig requires about 2.5 gals per snail. Temps should stay constant in the mid 70s-80 or so...Brigs donot eat healthy plants, but will nibble on dead leaves. They do a really great job in my planted tank. They dont really require filtration per say, but regular vaccumming (twice a week in a small tank) should remove any waste. They do enjoy an airstone though..They actually play in the bubbles :) Because they have both a gill and a lung they can breath directly from the air via their syphon. Talk to your club and let me know :)

MQP - So very nice of you!:)

I just picked up some snails, but you know for AC, I'll have to think about more. I'll show hubby when he gets home and see what he thinks.
