Yeah, I upgraded my Eclipse hood with two bright kits from AH Supply, I originally had two 15 watt tubes, once upgraded I had 4 13 watt Copact Fluorescent tubes, almost double! Anyway, I was able to do the wiring no problem but I did have some heat issues afterword ( the plastic right behind the bulbs began to melt), to solve it I just cut up some reflectors and put them right under the light sockets. So far I haven't had any problems, I am still trying to get the heat from the bulbs to dissipate a little more from te plastic light covering, but it hasen't been to big of a problem. Oh, and I have an Eclipse 2 on a 20 gallon tank by the way.
