ok Ok OK,....i am soo super upset and confused as to what is going on in my tank. My corals seemed to be "shrinking" up the last couple of days,..(Max know about this) and yesterday I almost cried when I came home to find my flame scallop was dead and almost completely eaten. Now today I come home to find that my favourite most personal cleaning shrimp has up and disappeared!! Who or What is killing everything in my tank. It is like a bad horror flick!!! I am so upset. All of my levels are great,...well except now my nitrites are a little up with the excess death!!!! There have been no problems with tank mates or anything for the duration of this tank so I don't get it. AAAHHHHHHHH.......Things come in threes so I wonder what it will be next. Suggestions anyone??

I'd say it's the zebra hermit they can be monsters even at a small size. Either that the big blue leg they can also be twits! Unless you've added l.r. lately and have a possible hitch hiker,

I seeccond the hermit. Those *******s killed almost everything in my nano tank. I was peeved at it. it's your zeeb hermit. take it out asap!
 
i read up on zebra hermits and it looks like they are not likely to kill clams or shrimp. but there is another hermit that looks like zebra hermit with only few differences. is that possible that you have the wrong one? also it's possible that you have something that you haven't noticed yet. just my two centes.
