that's why is it used on the bottom of most tanks.

without it you run a risk of glass breaking on the bottom.

dude, you've been planning this for a month and I have yet to see any pics or word from you that you spent a dime on this project. You're not building a house, get to it. I have a feeling this project is never going to happen..

Ha! I have been pricing glass and planning to avoid mistakes. Once something like this gets in my head I have to do it or the voices don't stop. LOL J/K. But I do have limited funds, so it won't be immediately now. I do plan on getting the stand done soon. Then I will delay other fish projects to accumulate fish funds for the glass, heater, & filter.

I have changed plans around a bit, then scraped it and came up with a new idea. I may go with what you have been hearing about, or with the new idea... I'll tell yall in a month or two, witch is when I'll start one or the other. ...

yea, i never heard of julies getting as big as 8" or something like that one poster said...
