they only had 4 of the long fins and the 4th jumped out of the net. It survived, but they were going to let it rest and see if it was healthy.

I hope you like you danios but I hate mine... My brother had them in his ten, and then I offered to take them into my 20 (A ten was too small) They just swim around on the top and eat food, and occasionally poop... I'm not too impressed with their colors either.

If you want an awesome school I would get long skirt tetras, I have 6 and I love them. They look pretty cool also.

Yeah, I will be getting 3 more long fin danios when petsmart gets them in. I will also be getting the dwarf flame gourami. I might get a powdered blue or two if stocking allows it.

3 male guppies
1 dwarf gourami
6 panda corys

dwarf gouramis are like bettas most of the time. one per tank

I have seen many people with two. But okay. That leaves room for the corys and snails.

When algae starts to develop, how many mystery snails would be a good number for a tank this size?

i wouldnt get mystery snails mine never really did much, just got huge and died randomly. ramshorns are the way to go in my opinion

I guess it's perspective, cause I love my mystery snails, and find the ramshorns boring at best.

An apple snail would be even better, but that cant happen I like what I have seen about mystery snails.

nerite snails are number one in terms of algae and color.
