I put stuff out on the curb last weekend and it was gone in an hour or so. I just need to empty it, put back the stuff I want to keep and throw out/give away everything else. It's a monumental task.

It's worse now, there's about 20 bags of insulation piled on top of everything on the right side and lumber in the path to the tanks for the big tank on the left side and some stuff I have from a friend's little girl close to blocking the side door.

CW I honestly have no clue what I'm doing LOL. J/K I'm not a carpenter, but I do understand a few things about tension of surfaces and strength. I'm sure there's a more "right" way of doing it, but I'm working within my comfort zone and abilities. This will be overbuilt in such a way that it'll probably still be standing if another Katrina blew through here and took out my house.

Gate valves are repairable should they fail, ball valves aren't. 2" isn't nearly enough to drain 4300 gallons quickly. The two 3" gate valves would be for emergency draining in case of tank failure and in progress flooding of my house :D Think fire hydrant flow rate...

3" gate valve is cheaper too as I'll be buying in 6+ lots http://www.aquaticeco.com/subcategories/2513/Knife-Gate-Valves-1-1-2-to-8/gate valve/0

Though, I may have to use ball valve, as the one I just listed is for low pressure and we will have extreme pressure on these toward the bottom of the tank.

The gate valves are repairable but they take a bit to open and "Dump" plus if you have debris that blocks the gate from closing you will have to pretty much dismantle the gate valve. Either way you go I dig your design.
