Idk about that type of turtle but when i had sliders and they'd get algae on their shells I'd really gently scrub them clean with a soft bristled toothbrush. Is there a plan for getting him clean? Maybe shrimp? lol

Man, cool fish. I like the algae on the turtles, too. Also the cray is very colorful. Is this a natives tank? Wouldnt expect to see something with colors likenthatnin our nations rivers.
