Buy dry ferts. For the most common ferts you have to dose them from 2 separate containers but most of them can mix. They are called macros and micros. The "trace elements" react with one of the others and need to be dosed separately.

Could you please do me the favor of providing me with a link to exactly what I need. When it comes to ferts I have absolutely no idea what I am looking for. I used to use flourish a bunch of different things from flourish, there excel, iron, etc. I have no idea what to do with dry ferts.

As for tanks without CO2 I guess you just dose a smaller amount. I do not have CO2 but still need to dose fertilizers and I am still figuring out how much I actually need to dose. I am basing the amount of fertilizers I will use off of how much KNO3 (nitrates) my plants consume every day. I think that would be considered the "estimative index" method of dosing.
