its hard to stop adding bichirs once you start....

and back to some previous comments. I got a delhezi 2 years ago at about 6 inches. I just sold him a few weeks ago because he was growing so much slower then my other bichirs and was starting to look like food. He was only 8 inches long. So in two years he only grew 2 inches.

delhezis and senegals available at the lfs tend to be captive bred...and captive bred bichirs will rarely attain the species maximum size of a wild caught bichirs.
