It's hard to say without a photo, but there's a pretty good chance they are aiptasia or majano anemones.

Or anything else that can't get out of their way like softies etc. If you want any sesil inverts I'd get rid of them as fast as you can. However if you do like them you're in great luck because you're going to have PLEANTY of them. If you think they are neat cool but do consider once they are well established they can be a bear to get rid of. I'd put them in a tank alone or with fish only that's just IMO. I don't know if they can bother your fish or not I've never given them the chance.

ive heard of injecting them with lemon juice. does this joes juice require you to inject the anemone? also, are there any natural preditors of aipastia? like red legged hermit crabs?

I've recently discovered my own personal infestion. Seeing how everyone rants about Joe's Juice, I figure I'm going to give it a whirl. Oh what a bummer.
