angel breeding pair Q

Just wondering... is it common for breeding angel pairs to disband and seek other partners?

I have a pair that has been spawning pretty frequently in my show tank, getting pretty good too. But after the last spawn was done, the male started hanging out with another female (who already had a male but hadnt started spawning yet)

Is this common behavior? I was getting ready to move one pair out just to keep the sanity but now Im just watchin, waiting to see what happens...

It happens, angels aren't angels when it comes to partners, they like to get around.
