that sounds really difficult to do with young discus, you need to feed those 3 times a day apparently, I didn't and am no longer burdened with any discs -_-
To me the problem is more of a temperature issue. Discus prefer warmer water than angels. I would be more concerned keeping wilds with tank raised fish wspecially since wild angels would be a lot more likely to carry stuff to which the discus have 0 resitance.
