The general rule of thumb is 1 adult angel per 10 gallons of water, just like discus. So it will be determined by your other fish in the tank, your water changes and tank maintenance. When I raised angels, I would always be over the recommended stocking liimits but I was doing water changes every 4 to 5 days - or more often if needed. So there are a lot of factors to consider - hope this helps.

honestly...angels are quite violent within species...you could do a few if you got all ladies..but they are very difficult to sex...i got four juvies for my 50B and kept them all for about 6 months when my first two paired. Past that point the dominant male would've killed anybody i left in the tank by simply bullying them to death.
