A little above 80 is fine. Just make sure the water is WELL aerated at that temp.

OK now i'm a little confused, how warm can I safely set my temp and not bother the goldies?

they can handle 80-82 until the ick are gone.

keep the temp higher - deal with the ich first, then figure out what to do with the goldies.
