from my experience, they will lay quite a few eggs once they pair up.

when I first got them, 12 or so assassins in a 20g cleaned up about 100 ramshorns in...oh...2 weeks.

They'll go from ramshorns to ponds/bladders to MTS, in that order. when one is depleted, they go onto the next.

Ehhhh, they do look pretty.

They wont be going in my planted 10 gallon though, I have a nice balance between the pond and MTS. The ponds refuse to breed and theres only 4 MTS they bury themselves in sand.

Think i'll clean my 10 breeder this weekend and see if I cant sell off some of these rams.

got mine today as well, all are nice and lively haven't seen mine make a move either but I'll keep an eye on them
