One gourami is probably best off alone. He'll do just fine. He'll be the boss of the tank and be happy for it lol. Your betta avatar is exactly like the one i bought yesterday, red front fins and all
Having more than one dwarf gourami in the tank won't make him ni less lonely, that is, after he kills his fellow. Remember, anabantids (bettas, gouramis) as a general rule shouldn't be mixed.
