My tank is 70g, I was dumb and put him in a gallon container...... past that now...

I have a 5 gallon tank and a HOB to go with, Should i set it up so that i have a place to Q sick or new fish?

run the little HOB for the 5g on your main tank. if you need to use the QT tank, just fill it with water and move the filter to the small tank.

Thanks, I am going to do that. That will make it easy to setup the 5 if i need to......
