I'm not as jealous of the bettas as I am the photography skills! Amazing job everyone. I noticed in one of the pics that the betta didn't have much skin (skin?) on their fins. My betta has a fin like that and even after his long flowing tail grew back, he still has the fin problem...is it normal?

Do you mean crowntails? They were bred for reduced webbing between the rays of their fins. It's totally normal, just a genetic alteration. Here's a pic of a nice crowntail:

Bettas have such great color and finnage, but up close their mugs are not all that attractive, in my opinion. Then again, I'm not a Betta. ;)
