I went to the shop to look at the bristlenose.. hahaI didnt really like it.. maybe i;ll go back to my ALBINO RAINBOW SHARK !!!

it really depends on the algae, too. no or very few algae-eating fish eat all types of algae. as others have said, adding an algae-eater will not cause the algae to go away, it will remove some algae temporarily but cause a larger problem in the long run. if you like algae-eaters of whatever kind, get some, but don't buy one just to clean the tank. that's your job. algae-eating should be a bonus of having a fish, not the reason for having one. also as has already been said, they need to be fed directly as well - they (plecos) can't live off algae alone.

im not looking so much for alage eaters but more to bottom dwellers.. that algae clearing is like you said... a bonus!

an off topic question.. can algae grow on plants?
