Nice tank! I have to agree though that it is not the most hospitable tank for shrimps. Also ghost shrimps are not easily bread in captivity. The easiest shrimp to keep to breed would be cherries as already mentioned. You could probably pull off a small bringing tank in as small as a 5 gallon, but a 10 or 20L would be ideal.

However if you just want to keep shrimp and are not trying to breed them, I would suggest amano shrimp since they are larger and the fish probably will not make a meal of them.

If you really just want to breed something, try a marbled crayfish, since her babies would probably survive in the tank with the fish. Just my 2 cents :D

ammano are some hardy little buggers'. they survived my ignorance when i was first starting out with my first "big"tank that was a 20 gallon.
