Ok so I have been having lots of bubbles on the top surface of my water and I just wanted to verify if this is good or bad, my filtration set up is 2 high powered filters and 2 bubble makers,(bubblers) is this oxygen bubbles or is this a bad disease or something? : info: water change weekly, light stays on 3-6 hours and I use tap water to fill my tank but I do use tap water conditioner in my water.

You have a protein film on the water surface. Try to remove it by either skimming it off, or with more surface movement (power head).

It will not really harm fish, but will keep the water from getting a good O2 exchange.

What kind of foods are you feeding....could be too high in protein and possibly way too much.....

Are you using a tap water conditioner with slime coat protection? This can be aloe or polyvinylpyrrolidone which will foam up under heavy aeration. It's nothing to worry about and will go away on it's own in a few days.

Fresh activated carbon or using a tap water conditioner without a slime coat protection aspect will prevent it from forming.

It can also be protein from food as mentioned already in which case a water change will help.
