Building a new hood for my 20G. . .

I'm retaining the original Perfecto light hood and cover, but building a much more aesthetically pleasing fixture. It will be closed on the top with access doors.

Matching the finish of the stand is going to be the tricky part, it looks to be a lacquer and not a regular paint. Oh well, that's why these things are works in progress, right?
