Can I add another bottom dweller?

I've gotten cheaper at my LFS but not horrible. Is this guy a breeder or just someone looking to unload fish?
He says he's moving out of the country and needs to get rid of his tank. I'm also buying some plants from him.
Don't get a flying fox thinking it will help with algae although they nibble some. They are like rainbow sharks & red tailed sharks: only 1 of any of those 3 in a 4 ft+ tank & don't mix mild mannered SAEs with any of them.

Hmmm. For me, I would be worried about what condition the plec is in when you get it as you could find one for less at a nice LFS. I don't know about what is available in your area so it might be a good deal.
