just remember this, you get what you pay for. I found that out the hard way. I ended up spending 150 bucks for a good regulator.
I haven't been looking at specific brands. I don't really know what brands to look at. But if you just look at needle valves in general, most don't seem to be $60. Most seem to run more like $20.which ones have you been looking at? i have a Swagelok metering valve on my regulator good sturdy bit of equipment but probably cost about $60. and i know good metering valves can be really expensive.
I have heard a few reports about this reg. stating it functions well for the price. I believe the working pressure is pre-set at 22psi.
The next cheapest entry level reg. is from these guys.
