Also, if it is the type of turtle I am thinking of, you might want to warn people of just how big they get. We have a couple of ponds, and while the small ones are cute looking at a couple inches, the big ones are not really ideal pets (talking 40-50lbs for a single turtle).

my uncle used to catch them and make turtle soup,.. oh my was that good,.. they can get th size of wash tubs,.. sorry bet you guys are mostly too young to know what one is,. but truck tire or bigger,..
