Craigslist tank size miscalculation

judging by the size of a normal man,
this tank is 192x24x24" or 480 gallons.
assuming they moved it with 2 forklifts, one for each pallet under the tank,
my guess is the water seal has already been compromised by the fact that
there is no brace supporting most of the middle part of this tank in storage.

The 90 gallon complete setup with stand I picked up on CL was suppose to be a 75g, but I could tell it was too tall. The measurements proved it to be a 90. Either way, it was a great deal for 100.00!
tell them $1 per gallon is the going rate on a used tank and a 10 gal really isn't worth that used. then tell them since you broke the news you feel responsible and you'll offer them the $10 anyway. 
He said in the ad it was 10 feet long and was using that photo to show what it looks like... tho a worst example photo ever!:huh: 240gal? what a confused ad this is :screwy:

Ok well if the tank is as tall as it is deep and its 10ft long or 120in that makes the tanks dimensions 120"x21.5"x21.5" comes out to 240.47 gallons
Mostly when you point out the discrepancy in size it works in your favor as a bargaining chip, but sometimes the more you point out the discrepancies the more angry they get especially if its deliberately hidden flaw like a painted over crack.
