Yeah. I mean they're nice tanks but it's almost like the person saved all the receipts and is charging what they paid. There's a few I've seen where the person is selling for about $2000 and say "well I've invested $4000 in it". It's too as they don't realize it doesn't matter. It's like a computer or a car. Once it's out of the store it ain't worth ****

you can't fault the seller for asking what he/she thinks it's worth.
they may have a lot invested , particularly if it is a Marine tank or Reef tank. on many of those they may spend close to $1000 just for a light and the spare bulbs
all you can do is make an offer if you are interested.
