I wouldn't add an eel to the tank. For getting rid of the crawlies, bump the WCs up and watch feeding and they should disappear on their own.

Thanks all! Any suggestions on what I could put in that tank that would go decently with the crays? Or should I just keep it the way it is?

I agree. Another possibility is keeping guppies or mosquitofish in there; depending on how lazy your crays are, the livebearers might manage to establish a breeding population. They would also keep your 'crawlies' down.
